Work for Work is a small design community built for people who are looking to add more projects to their portfolio. Our goal is to provide a feed for direction and motivation, in an effort to bridge the gap between education and employment.

Each month we send out a new assignment to work on. Our projects are mainly targeted for graphic designers and web designers. Typically we do mock work, projects where the client does not receive the design, but occasionally we’ll also be designing self-promotionial materials. To apply, click here.

Is it free? Yes, but just remember that membership only lasts as long as you stay active. If you miss three projects in a row you’ll lose your slot. But if that happens you can reapply. All applications are reviewed at the end of each month

Can I do my own project ideas? Not independently. I think if everybody did their own thing, the purpose of Work for Work would be completely lost. You can always suggest a project, and if we think it’s great we’ll happily use it.
